CANADA AND THE NAVY.

OTTAWA, Juno 23. The Hon. L. P. Brodeur, replying to a deputation at Montreal, reviewed three proposals. He said that Canada might offer two Dreadnoughts, might contribute an annual round sum, or establish a Canadian Naval Militia, fhe latter was most favoured by the Canadian Government, and the Opposition supported it. He added that if only one dry dock were built, Quebec was tho best location.
