" Fat Sheep^3337 were penned, whjch number proved quite in excess of butdiers I.requirements, and as freezing Cbuyera .were not operating to any extent,- prices declined by Is to Is 6d per'head, and .but for graziers stepping in'and-'taking-the surplus, lower prices. * would have ruled. Best wethers sold at .14s':-9d/to 15s 9d, extra up to 18s, medium 13s to 14s 3d, best ewes 10s 6d to 12s'6d, medium 7s 6d\to 9s, and inferior^ 5s to 6s 3d. i ; Lambs—4o2o> were yarded. There was a record yarding of lambs, which suffered iii prices to about the same extent' .&S'- sheep." There wa^ a medium yarding, and prices for slips and stores firmed by about 2s per head. Supkei;s.Bpld s at recent prices, and porkers were easy owing to a large line being forward. Suckers made 10s to 125,,; slips ,l4s,jbo 18s,. stores 23s to 28s, porkers 345;.t0;385, light baconers 43s to 60s, and heavy 55s to 60s. . •
