BURNSIDE STOCK MARKET.
DUNEDIN, July 15. Fat Cattle.—2l3 head were'yarded. Only a small proportion were of the best quality and there realised full market values. Medium and inferior were in only fair demand. Best bullocks sold at from £11 to £11 10s, medium £6 10s to £7 ss, best cows and heifers £7 10s to £8 10s, extra £9 15s, medium £6 10s-to £7, inferior, £5 to £5 10s. Fat Sheep.—3Bl9 were yarded. This was an extra large yarding and Bnces, except -for best wethers, were not quite so good as last week. Best made from '20b to 22s 6d, extra heavy (show sheep) 34s to'3ls 6d; good wethers 17s 6d to 19s; light 15s to 16s 6d ; best ewes 18s to 17s 6d; extra 19s-;' medium 13s 6d to 14s 9d; inferior 8s 6d to Us. Lambs.—Only 300 were yarded and prices for good quality were the same .as last week, but anything not fit for freezing was very hard of sale. Best brought from 15s 6d to 16s 6d; medium 13s to 14s; inferior 10s to 12s. Pitrs—llO were yarded. Suckers made from 12s 6d to 14s; slips 15s to 19s; stores ,23s to 28s; porkers 38s to 435; light baconers 3us to 50s and heavy 53s to 65s 6d. ' '.
