THE ARBITRATION ACT.
AUCKLAND, July 15. . The following resolution was unanimously carried at the last monthly meeting of the Timber Workers' Union: "That this union tenders the Hon. J. A Millar, Minister for Labour, its sympathy in-the recent troubles m connection with the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, and has every confidence in the Act, and most decidedly condemns the system of striking in direct contravention to legislation.
