"FAUST" IN ASHBURTON.
At the Oddfellows' Hall. Ashburton. On "Wednesday evening tho_ "Faust Operascope company will begin a short season of two nights and a matinee. A large number of interesting films will be shown, including a pictorial representation of Goethe's "FaUst." The story-of Sherlock Holmes is treated in a similarly interesting manner. The entertainment includes songs by Miss Pisher, and an amusing sketch by tins lady and Mr Wilson. Besides the "Faust" and Sherlock Holmes' pictures, there will be films showing the football match played between Now Zealand and Australia on the 20th of last month. The pictures will be shown by electricity generated by the company's own 110-volt dynamo.
