Mr Henry Stephenson reports that owing to the wet morning the entry was somewhat below the average, and the attendance also suffered, at his usual weekly sale. The prices obtained were as follows: Poultry—Hens, Is 5d to 2s Id; roosters. 2s 3d to 3s; at per pair. Pigs—Weaners, 10s to 13s: small stores, los; porkers, 30s 6d to 32s 6d. Produce —Potatoes( table) 5s to 6,-s 3-1. pig 2s 3d to 3s 6d. seed 4s to 4s 3d; carrots, 2s 9d to 2s lid; swedes, ?■=! 6d; oatsheaf chaff, 3s; wheat straw '10, lOd; all at per sack. Onions, Id per lb. Fruit—Apples, 3d; pears, 3d per lb. Meat —Carcases, mutton. Hd to 2d; lamb, 3d. Beof—Joints, 3d ;at per lb.
