BURNSIDE STOCK MARKET.

DtJNEPIN, July 31. Sheep—-2357 were penned, and nearly all the entries were comprised of unfinished sorts ; but for good, heavy, wethers prices wore perhaps a shade ahead of last week. For unfinished sorts, which were in over-supply, late quotations were' barely maintained. Quotations : BestJ wethers 23tj 6d to 25s 6d, extra heavy to'2Bs ; medium to good 18s to 22s 6d, extra good ewes to 22s ] 9d, best ewes 18s to 20s. Lambs—s9o were penned. Most of the entry were of real good quality— quite fit for export purposes—and met with strong competition. Prices compared favourably with. almost any sale of the season. Quotations -.Best lambs 17s 6d to 19s, extra heavy to 21s 6d; medium to good 14s to IGs 6d.

Pigs—l7o were yarded, and prices for suckers and slips were much the same as last week, and at the commencement of the sale porkers and baconers sold atlast week's rates, but towards the finish slackened. Quotations : Suckers 13s to 1.55, slips 17s to 20s, stores 24s to 28s,' porkers 35s k> 445, light baconers 45s to 51s, heavy 58s to 81s. Cattle—234 were yarded. The entry was made up chiefly of unfinished sorts, and for these prices were rather easier than last week.,. Quotations -.Best bullocks to £11 12s 6d, medium to good from £9 10s to £10 ss, ordinary £8 ss;to £9, best heifers and cows £7 5s to £10 17s 6d. ,*■■".
