POST OFFICE CHANGES.
WELLINGTON, July 30. The Postmaster-General announces the following changes in the staff of the Fosfe and Telegraph Department: Mr S- P. Stevens, Chief-Postmaster ati Nelson, is to be promoted to Chief Postmaster at Christchurch ,in place of Mr J. F. Mcßeth, who is retiring at the end of September; 3lr E. V. Sonn, all present Assistant-Inspector of Post Offices, is to be appointed Chief Postmaster at Nelson.. Mr Senn's successor has not) yet been selected.
