United Press Association, by Electric Telegraph. London. Jan. 22 Mr Flower, presiding at a meeting of the Union B*nk, said that the prosperity and expansion of Australasia were never so great as now. All the eirentastances seemed (o betoken the continuance of prosperity throughout Australasia. Stdnet, Jan 22 At the half-yearly meeting of the Commercial Banking Company, the report showed a profit of .£90,860. A. dividend of 10 per cent was declared. The Joint Stock Bank had a profit of JJ72.915, of whioh i>68,293 has been devoted to interest on fixed deposits and inscribed deports stock, and the balance carried forward. Both the reports testify to the increasing prosperity of Australia.
