Wool Fires Commission.
Wellington, Nov 20 At present the Wool Fires Commissioners are considering proofs of evidence taken in Napier, Gisborne, New Plymouth, and Wan* ganui, A. statement from tb,e colony's High Commissioner in London oovering the reports by the London Salvage Assooiation on the cargoes in the Gothic and the Rimutaka, which were seriously damaged by fire, is also being considered. The chairman of the Commissioners (Dr McArthur) is now condensing the evidence received. Other reports are expected by the next mail from London. Samples of the new season's wool have been procured by the Commissioners, and experiments are being made on these to test their liability to fire. The Commission will sit again next week,
