Hampstead Town District -The members of the Hampstead Town Board made a tour of inspeotion of the district last evening, those taking part in the drive being Mr G. L. Sandrey (chairman), and Messrs Gr. W. Andrews, T. Crooks, A C. Hardy, and Wm, Thompson. The inspection was made chiefly with a view to see what works would have to be under- ! taken in the near future. The district ' was t'ounS to be in fairly good order. A neoessary work pointed oufc was in respect to opening up channels and finding outlet for water on some of the roads whioh generally were deemed to require remounding up on the crown. The whole of the roads in the district were regarded as being far too flat, and the Clerk was instructed to take the levels of the various water tables with a view to finding the best outlet foJ them. Owners of Motor Gars and Cycles will fiad the Q. H. Carson Motor Works exceptionally well equipped to effect repairs and thoroughly overhaul every make of machine with promptness.
