Adelaide, Nov 20.
A lad arrived at Kingsoote to-day, and reported the wreok of the Frenoh barque Monte Belle, whioh left Hohart on November 7th in ballast for Port Pirie, The lad met some of the crew, which numbered forty all told, who informed him that the barque went ashore early on Sunday morning, near Cape Diconedie, on the sooth west extremity of Zsngaroo Island. The weather was exceedingly rough. They were trying to make Cape Borda, but missad the light, and were unaware that they were near land till they sitruok, All hands got safely ashore, though one seaman was rather seriously injured. The men are now camped in a shelter hut, near the scene of the wreck. Provisions hare been sent, and a Government steamer despatched to their assistance. Owing to the crew all being Frenchmen, there is diffioalfcy in obtaining details.
