Mr John Burns, replying to a deputation of suffragists, stated that until Mr Keir Hardies Women's Enfranohisement Bill had been read a second time next session the Government would be unable to express an opinion as to, its prospects of passing this Parliament. . Received Nov. 19, 7.50 a.m. London, Noy 18 Mr John Burns received a deputation of seven suffragists at Lavender Gardens, but declined to commit the Government to the recognition of women's suffrage. Other visits to the Minister at his private house are threatened. '
