Auckland, Nov 13 The Hon. Mr Fowlds, on being inter. viewed, expressed the opinion that the new arrangements for the management of the Exhibition would be satisfactory. He said that Mr Munro might have been more^ tactful, but he had done splendid work, from the Government's point of view, m launching the Exhibition with a prospect of its being brought to a conclusion without very much loss, and anyone m his position who had to resist local pressure for expenditure m certain directions, was bound to be unpopular.
