A Railway Compromise.
Received Nov. 13, 9.14 a.m. London, Nov 12 Preparatory to the South African intercolonial conference on railway rates, Dr Jameson's interviews with Lord Elgin led to a yivendi which is praotically a compromise connected with the rates and distribution of portions of Oraogia's trade between the Cape and Natal ports.
