The discussion on the Temperance Committee's report was resumed, when ministers and elders gave testimony as to the improved state of affairs in Invercargill and Oamaru as the result of the coming into operation of no-license in these districts, the opinion being expressed that if a poll was taken again the majority for nolicense would be largely increased. The report was adopted.
The Theological College Committee leported that tbe total attendance was 23, of whom three belong to other denominations. The Key. A. Cameron, in movine the adop tion of the report, said that there were 70 men, all with a few exceptions at work in New Zealand, who had been trained at the College. The report was adopted, and the donor of scholarships thanked.
