Woman Suffrage.
London, Nov 8 Mr Keir Hardies Bill, enacting that when a woman had the same qualifications as men she should be entitled to vote at Parliamentary election, was read-a first time in the House of Commons. Mr Hardie states that four hundred and twenty members are pledged to give women the franchise.
Sir Henry Campbell "Bannerman stated that he had never said that the Government would not deal with the subject during the present Parliament, but only that it would not deal with it during the present season.
