Then Glenn (Taranaki), Smith (Auckland), Deanß (Canterbury), Seeling (Auckland), Wallace (Wellington), and Hunter (Tarsnaki) secured tries in quick succession, all before half time. Wallace converted thre9 of them, while Gillett added major points in one instance. At half time the score was—New Zealand 26 to nil. In the Beoond half very even play took place for the first half hour. Then Deans obtained his second try, which Wallace converted. Gloucester had another dice of bad lack, losing Wood, half back, through injury. Wallace, Seeling, and Deans secured further tries, two of which Wallace converted, and the game ended—New Zealand 44 points Gloucester 0.
