Advices from Lodz show that the groat iron railway bridge at Pabianice was undermined in ordet to prevent the transport of raserves. The mino exploded, doing slight; damage. Another mine was opportunely discovered, also explosives elsewhere. The entire railway is nowg'narfted. Seven shots kilted tho chief of police while ho was walking in the main street of Schuseba in the Caucasus '1 he Decembrist speakers included a director of the newspaper " Kuss," and three socialists.
a. meeting of workmen at Baku, presided over by the Mayor, passed a reaolntiou condemning the war as senseless and ruinoue, and expressing the opinion that on(y free representatives of the people should ba elecfed by a secret ballot on the principle of equal "rights so that they should ba able to extricate Russia, adding " Our mottoes are peace and freedom."
