Otago v Southland.

In the match, Ofcago v Southland, played at Invercarpill yesterday, Ofcago made 133, (Baker 37, Fisher 27). Southland made 159, Fisher taking six wickets for 90 runs.
The match was concluded early to-day with an easy win for the visitors by eight wickets. Southland's second innings made 153, and Otago ran up the 77 required to win for the loss of two wickets. Wilson, the local captain, had his nose fractured by a ball from Siedeberg, and had to retire. The weather was fair, warm, and sunless throughout the njatch.
