Summer Drinks.
The Ashburton Drug Company have introduced to Ashburton a splendid piece of mechanism in the shape of an automatic machine, which supplies a varied collection of fruit and iced drinks, including lemon, ginger ale, banana, nectar, pine apple, Btrawberry, raspberry, orange, iced and fresh cream. By the pressure of a. tap any of the above drinks are immediately supplied Rt the moderate charge of 3d, and it may be said that the refreshing drinka are manufactured purely from fruits, thus dispensing with the objectionable use of chemicals, which, needless to say, are so harmful to the system. The machine which i 8 a splendid piece of mechanism, is made of marble throughout and no doubt the many patrons of the Drug Company will appreciate Mr J. M. Cambridge's thoughtfulness in introducing it to the public.
