Japanese Mail Boats Converted into Cruisers.

The Japanese mail boats "Nippon Maru" and "Hongkong Maru," each 6169 tons register and steaming seventeen knots an hour, have been converted into cruisers, and are now off Singapore.

It is stated that Admiral Kamimura's squadron consists of two battleships, two armoured cruisers, two smaller cruisers, and twelve destroyers.
