Mr H. Stephenson reports on hia ordinary Saturday sale of live and dead stock as follows:—The attendance was large and the entry representative. There waa a fair yarding of pigs, and the demand was slightly better than was the case last week. Werners made 9s, 10s to lls6d • stores 15s to 19a j porkers 25s to 30s; baconers £2 Bs, £2 4s, £2 7s to .£2 Ms. There was a large entry of poultry, fowls bringing 2r to 3s, roosters up to 3s fid; ducks 3s to 3s Gd; geese in 6d, all at per pair. Potatoes 4s per sack, wheat 7s 6d to 10s per sack ; onions -jd; apples 2s per case. A large qumt:ty of sundries and harness offered made good market value.
