THE PRINCE'S MOTOR CAR
The Prince of Wake is tiie happy possessor of what, doubt:eus justly, claims to be the finest motor-car yet turned out (writes Mr H. W. Lucy). It is from the Daimler manufactory, and is equal to 22-horsepower, a force never reached by the chariots of the Roman Emperors. The car has been built with a view rather to comfort than to speed. It is exceptionally lengthy, being: designed to seat nine people, all facing forward. In the motor-car that- delights, "the hearts of reckless drivers like the Prime Minis-terand the President of the Irish Board of Agriculture, the works of the motive power are mostly in evidence, their proportions exceeding eveM the seating accommodation of the vehicle. With the Prince of Wales' new acquisition, the car istlie thing, the motor occupying a comparatively modest place in the .structure. The front seat is reserved for the driver, and, if necessary, an attendantchauffeur. Immediately behind are four arm-chair seats,'wKiJstin'the.rear of the car is luxurious accommodation, for. three persons.
