British, Mediterranean Squadron in Readiness.
Jews in Russia, (Received Sept. 25, 8.45 a.m.) London, Sept 24 A portion of the British and Mediterranean squadron is in Suda Bay in readiness for any emergency. ' St. Petersburg, Sept 24 The " Novoe Vremya," commenting on the Gomel and Kishineff outrages, blames the Jews for their exolusiveness and malignancy towards Christians, and urges the abolition of those peculiarities that make Jews compact and hostile in the midst of a purely Russian population.
