The Late Lord Salisbury.
United Pre-<s Association—-Hy Electric Telegraph—Copyright * London, Aug. 25 The text of King Edward's message to Lord Cranborne was as follow ::—" Accept my deepest sympathy, and express the same to your brothers and sisters, on the occasion of the loss of your distinguished and ever-to-be-regretted father." The Executive Committee of the Chambers of Commerce Congress at Montreal cabled their condolence. Warm ti ibute3 have arrived from Ireland and the colonies. The Cape Assembly passed a resolution of regret. Sir J. G. Sprigg referred to Lord Salisbury's grasp of the South African problem, and said South Africa had lost a steadfast friend. After a private service, the interment ■will take place on Monday afternoon in.the family burial ground at Hatfield, the arrangements being similar to those at the interment of the Marchioness. A memorial service will be held in Westminister Abbey. Received August 26, 10.12 a.m. Sydney, Aug. 26 The Federal Government has cabled its condolence on the death of Lord Salisbury
