Clearing Sale.

Messrs Maling and Shallcrass report holding a very successful sale at Pakihi, Orari, on Thursday, when in spite of harvest operations there was a large attendance of buyers, and bidding was brisk. Prices realised were as follows :—Fullmouthed ewes, 7s 9d to 10s Id; soundmouthed croßsbred ewea, 11s 6d; 4 and six-tooth crossbred ewes, 14s sdj lambs, 5s lOd to 9s 6d ; rams, l|gs to 2gs. Mare, with foal by Te Kooti, .530; aged mare, with foal, £14; yearling, by Te Kooti, Jfl 10s; half draught yearling, Cows in proßt, £5 12a 6d; steers, £6 17s 6d. A lot of implements, carts, etc., at usual sale rates.
