Warning the Pabmees' Union—Mr John Koberts, C. M, G., speaking at a luncheon to members of the Agricultural Conference, warned them not to adopt anything m the way of a political platform. It had been suggested that they should follow the example of the farmers' Vnion, but he was of opinion that the Farmers* Union would produce a great deal of irritation by making itself a political organisation.
