GERALDINE LIVE STOCK MARKET.
There was only a moderate attendance at the Geraldine live stock sale yesterday, and the bidding was not as spirited as usual. There was a good entry of shcbp, but a poor sale. Shorn fat ewes brought from 10s 3d to 12a Id; 4, 6 and 8 tooth wethers, shorn 10j ;4, and 6 tooth wethers 12s; 'hreequarter bred hoggets 12s 6d to 12i lOd j 2 and 4 tooth ewes and lambs (ill counted) 9J 7d bo 9s 91; fab lambs 12s. There was a fair entry of cattle. Dry oows brought £4 bo £5 103; cows In profit £5 10s to £5 15s; two year old steers and neifers £2 7* 6d to £2 10*; steers £3 15?; springing heifsrs £2 10s to £4 15 ; calves 15s to 17s } shot thorn bulls £2 2* to £3 3;. There was a good entry of pigs, and a big demand for small stores and weaners* Weaners brought 7s to Bs, and stores 143 6L Fowls sold ab ls 6d to Is 81 eaoh. Potatoes fetched 5a 3d And 6s a saok.
