Chkis-chtjrch, July 16 A young ' man named Peter Dunn was charged at the Magistrate's Court today with causing to be received a letter threaten, i_K to kill Elizabeth Woodbury* The parties were on friendly terms for over two years, *tvd supposed to be eugaged. The girl broke the engagement off and walked oat with another. Accused wrote a letter threatening to blow her brains out. Dunn pleaded guilty after evidence had been taken, but disclaimed any serious intention.
