The order was' placed on December 21, and with the patriooho oo opetatiou of the workmen the firm : had the parts all ready for inspection on Monday, January 15. The bridge, which is of Seemens-Martin steel, is 105 ft long, 16* ft wide, and weighs 750 tone. All the parts are 80 numbered thab they can be easily pub together by ordinary railway construction partiee. 'i he first portion will be shipped on {Saturday, January 21 jusfc one month after the receipt of the order. This, we think, is a record which will take a little beaticg, even by smart Brother Jonathan.
