THE KAISER AND MR RHODES
United Press [Association— By Electrio Telegraph. Berlin, March 13 The Kaiser sent a carriage to bring Mr Cecil Rhodes to the palace. Mr Cecil Bhodes's audience with the Kaiser lasted 45 minutes, the Emperor showing keen interest m his scheme. Mr Rhodes then visited the Foreign Office and the Reichstag. His railway agreement, which is on broad lines, is arranged to safeguard German interests m Africa. An Anglo German syndicate is considered probable. March 14 The Kaiser offered Mr Cecil Rhodes a second interview.
