The petition WM received, and Mr Holmes' resolution WM carried. It was suggested that the hill wat not the best site for a booth, and the chair* man and Mr Holmes were appointed a sub. committee to point out a site where it ooold be erected, The Sports Committee's attention wat t« be called to the fact that no gambling mot* be allowed on the Domain. Several improvements were Maotionwt and the meeting dosed.
