London, May 13. The English wheat market shows a general advance of 6d. The Continental is advancing and the American is inclined to buoyancy Californiao No. 1 milling wheat 31a 6i; Russian cargoes 29s 9d ; London quotation for No. 1 hard Duluth 33s 9d.
At the London wool sales an inferior selection was offered. The bidding was animated, and the prices are hardening. The Bradford market is firmer.
May 14. At the wool sales the prices obtaiued for median) wools were fully equal to the closing rates at the March sales, Wool is hardening. Yorkshire is taking the bulk. The sales close on the 24th nstant* JVlay 15. The total quantity of wool catalogued up to date is 123,658 bales, of which 113,093 j have been sold. The heavy supplies of rabbita coming forward have depressed the market. Australian are offering for forward delivery at eightpence.
