IT IS A FACT.
TO THE EDITOR.
gja The Hampstead School Committee last Monday night elected Mr William Mcßae to fill the vacancy caused by the removal from the district of Mr Alexander Hondry. They are quite satisfied that Mr Mcßae is a gentleman well qualified for the position, and one who will give every satisfaction to the householders. The Committee extend their sympathy to the disappointed gentleman, but would advise him in future to "read up" before taking it upon himself to criticise their actions. I thank you, Mr Editor, for your foot note, pointing out that our action was quite in accordance with the Education Act.—l am, etc., W. J. Ckooks, Chairman Hampatead School Committee.
