Hoatten's road 1 ratea, on account of the unfortunate j accident he has sustained.—lt was decided j to leave this matter m the hands of a j member to arrange. From Mr Percy Jones. Selma, asking the Board to Single part of Dromoie road—The c'erk to reply that the matter will be attended to m the spring, it being quite useless to shingle roads during the winter season. From the Springfield Coal and Pottery Company, ciicular re drain pipes, &c — Received. from Public Trust Office, notice of sale of the property of the late Kenneth M cKen ssie.—Received. From the Commissioner of Crown Lands, signifying approval to the Board's suggestions re forming of rral round and leading to Reserve 1496.—Rt cdvel From the Ashborton County Council, informing the Board that the Council does not maintain fluood channels anywhere, whether made partly or whol'y from Oounfy funds, ani that ihe gravel reserve on R.y. 4844 is under the Board's control. OVffiß SEER'S REPORT. The Overseer's refort was re%i and considered. STORM WATER. The Clerk was instructed to inform Mr William Brown that the stuff must be removed from the ditch fronting his gateways, and fords substituted. WINTER WORK FUND. It was resolved that the sum of £25 be granted by this Board to be expended, together with sub-idy, m work done by the enemployed of this district, which work shall be m icated and under the supervision of the Board —The Clerk was instructed to ascertain all particulars as regards this class of work. reserve 1496. The tenders of James Daly for forming twenty chains of road at end of Mr Tucker's and Mr Clark's, for 4* 6d per chain, an I that of J Tair for the balance of the work at the same price, were accepted. ACCOUNTS. Accounts amounting to £21 18a 2d haviug been passed for paym ant, the Board adjourned.
