Horrible revelations have come to light as to the tortures inflicted in a Catholic asylum at Aix La Ohapelle, The patients were bound hand and foot and then submerged head downwards in icy water until they were partially drowned. After being released and revived, they were again subjected to the same inhuman treatment.
