Resigned.
Sydney, November 16 Mr Varaey Parkes has resigned the chairmanship of the Public Works Committee of the House of Assembly, alleging that most members of the committee were only bent on* the salvation of the interests of the official heads of departments, instead of tho salvation of the public funds. He declares he had either to wink at what he knew was wrong or resign.
