NEW AUSTRALIA
Sydney, October 25 Mr Kidd, President of the "New Australia" settlement, writing to a friend, expressed surprise that some of the prominent organisers of the movement m Australia have not yet arrived m the new colony. He says a good deal of planting has been done, and if the crops are successful the colony will be placed m an independent position. He expresses satisfaction with the place, but anticipates some difficulties, and expects that further shiploads of immigrants will follow from Casey's mission to the colonies,
