NEW AUSTRALIA.

Melboukne, October 17 Oommidaioner Ooombe, of the Salvation Army, has received a communication from his co-religionists m Buenos Ayres, that there are twenty destitute families who went from Australia there, and are pleading for assistance to carry them back to the colonies. The Salvationists are providing shelter for a number of the unfortunate people. Ooombe has communicated with the Premier of New South Wales on the subject, and desires to know whether Government or the public will raise funds to pay the passages back.
