THE QUEENSLAND ELECTIONS. Brisbane, April 30. In the first batch of elections the Ministerialists obtained 18, out of 24 seats; Labor party, 3; Independents, 2 ; and the Opposition 1. Sir Thomas Mcllwraith and Mr J. J. Kingsbury defeated Sic^Charles Lilley and Mr Thomas Glassey for the North Brisbane seats. Mr Read defeated Mr Thomas Anmack for Twoowong. Mr H. Tozer, the Colonial Secretary, Mr A. H. Barlow, the Minister of Lands, and Mr T. J. Barnes, the Attorney-General, have been re elected.
