The centenary of Karl Theodore Korner, the German poet who, m 1813, incited the expulsion of the French, was celebrated yesterday with great enthusiasm. THE KAISER PACIFIC AND GENEROUS, The Emperor is reported to have declared privately that he would never precipitate war, and that there was much to be gained by a few months moi'e of peace. The Emperor has made a handsome donation to the fund for the relief of the sufferers by the floods at Consuegra, m Spain.
