Bucharest, September 24. The King of Roumania, fearing that Russia will iittempt to obtain a passage through the Dobrudscha, an' extensive d rstrict of Roumania on the Black Se»j south of the Danube, is making enquiries,of the Powers comprising the Triple Alliance as to whether they will assist m preventing it, " [The Dobrudscha is a slice of Turkey at the mouth of Danube, and was, handed over by Russia to RoUmartia m IS7B, as a sort of equivalent for the Bessarabian country, on the opposite side of the river, which Russia had appropriated. The Dobrudscha is a flat swamp, and the present cf it to Roumania was looked upon rather as a white elephant than otherwise.]
