DR KOCH'S CONSUMPTION CURE.
The following is from Barlm, January 3rd :-—-Professor Koch is in ill humor over the increasing severity of professional criticisms. It is understood that he asked the Minister, Von Gossler, to relieve him from his pledge to surrender fco the State his right to the discovery. Von Gossler was opposed to publishing the composition of the remedy until foreign governments had been communicated with astp the precaution necessary to secure the production of genuine lymph. When the Landtag resumes its sitting a declaration will be made repudiating the charges of a j desire on the part of the Government to retain any advantage through the production of the lymph, and expressing readiness to communicate the process through other Governments able to guarantee against the abuse of it. In the meantime the anger of medical circles, arising from privileged traffic in the lymph, is growing in warmth. !
