Amerioan gentlemen are making a speciality of importing English birds for sporting purposes. During the past three years one firm alone has imported 5000 English pheasants, 2000 partridges, 150 roe-deer, 1000 English hares, 1000 English rabbits, and 50 wild boars, besides a number of reddeer, fallow-deer, and several hundred pheasant eggs.
