Flß,— As the fishing season will open shortly, I would like to cali attention through the medium of your valuable paper to the questionable practice of Sunday fishing, when has prevailed m this district during former seasons, It is, I think, Sir, a disgrace that such an example should be set by any resident of this district. Now that we have an Acclimatisation Society m Ashbuiton I trust it will look into the matter, and iieue lioenses for six days during the week only, a cuatans which, I understand, obtains m other districts.
