NOTICE is hereby given that the subjoined resolution was adopted by the Aohburton County Councl at a Special Meeting of the Cuncil held this day, and that the stud resolution will be submitted for confirmation at a Special Meeting of the Council, which will be held on FKIDAY, the 14th day of January, 1887, at 4 oVock m the afternoon. [Resolution.] " Reßolved — That this Council do make a Special Order adopting " The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1886," and that euch Special Order be as follows, that is to say: — ' SPECIAL ORDER. In pursunnce and exercise of tho powers vested m it hy " The T oral Bodies Loans Act, 1886, "The Counties Act, 1876/' and the several Actß amending the same, the County Council of tho Com. ty of ' shbur ton doth hereby adopt the provisions of " Tbe Local Bodieß Loans Act, 1886." Provided always that ;he operation of the said Act .hall be . limited to a loan of £3500, which this Council proposes to borrow from the Government under the provisions of "The Government Loana to Local Bodie. Act 1886," for the purpose of constructing a Tramway from the Mount Somers Railway Station to the Mount Fomers Coal Pit, near the mouth of the River Stour.
