EXTRAORDINARY ELOPEMENT.
A great sensation has bean created throughout the Rhondda Valley, Wales, by an extraordinary elopement of a young bachelor, who has become possessed of a fortune, with bis hostess and four children. It appears t iat a young master ganger on thenew Barry railway had orsome months been in apirtraents with a young couple and their family at Pontypridd. The m >ther, it seems, was of very preposa ssIng appearance, and an inliimoy arose between the unfaithful wife end the young gentleman, who was also passionately fond ( f the children, and spent a good deal of time with them, and seemed to win ihtir affactions. The visitor recently had several thousand pounds left him, and a few evenings ago the huaband, cn returning home, found that the stranger and his wife and family had all’disappeared, and no tidings could bo gained of them. I; was, however, ascertained on Saturday last that the wife bad sat sail with ber new lover and li tie ones for New Zealand. The fa.her grieves over the loss of his children, and effo. ts will be made to arrest the errant pair on their arrival at the antipode’.
