Business Notices. OTIOEI NOTICE ! NOTIOE1I! TO OUR Farming Friends. The great difficulty experienced by farmers already in disposing of their grain will make the following advertisement from the undersigned firm especially attractive to a county where nearly one-fourth of the grain in the Middle Island is grown. We therefore offer to our farming friends in this county the following inducements:— I. —We will ship to the United Kingdom, or to any port on the Continent, at the lowest current rates, and make liberal cash advances on shipments. 11. —We will not charge any colonial commission, nor interest on advances. HI.-—'We will return primage on freight and commission on insurance. We will further guarantee that the expense in shipping the grain through us will be as low as through any other house in the colony. We have our own brokers in London, so that all charges at home can be relied upon being the very lowest. Further, should sufficient inducement offer, our Mr. Hugo Friedlander will here for London by mail steamer in time to be in London before any of the grain ships arrive, so that he will be in a position to look after the interests of the farmers who intrust their grain to our care.

Sacks supplied lower than any other house in Ashburton. Early arrangements necessary, to secure freights in only firstclass vessels. We are PURCHASERS of PEAS, in any quantities. Friedlander Bros. AGENTS COLONIAL FIRE AND MARINE INSURANCE COMPANY.
