WHEREAS it has been made to appear that certain things required to be done by “ The Rating Act, 187fi,” in connection with the preparation and revision of the valuation roll of the Up],or Ashburton Read District cannot be done by or within the times mentioned in the said Act : Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of Now Zealand, in exercise of the powers vested in him by the said “ Rating Act, 1876,” and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Colony, doth hereby extend the times for doing the said things in connection with the valuation roll of the said road district, and doth declare that the times for the doing such several things shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
